Daily Assignments

Daily Work: PowerSchool

You can view your student's assignments and check on what's going on in their classes by visiting PowerSchool Learning (sometimes still called Haiku, its old name). There are several methods you can use to get access, and your child should be able to help with method #1. You will see the same information whichever method you use.

  • 1. On your child's Chromebook, click this link to PowerSchool Learning or find it in the "SASD Bookmarks" folder in the Bookmarks Bar. On the login screen, do not enter a username/password—instead, click on the "sasd.net" radio button and then hit the large green "Sign in with Google" button.

    • 2. If you need to access PowerSchool from your own device, contact any of your child's teachers and ask for a PowerSchool access code. The first time you visit PowerSchool, you will need to register a new parent account using the directions below.
        Google Classroom

Some classes use Google Classroom rather than PowerSchool. To see homework from these classes, you will need to sign up using the Google Classroom invitation sent home by the teacher. If you don't have an invitation, please contact your student's teacher to get one.
