Cooper School strives to provide all students with a variety of learning opportunities. We provide enrichment opportunities through our Makerspace and our instrumental music program. Students are provided with additional support through the ELI, ELL, and Special Education services. Please use the links on the left for more information about each of these programs and services.

The Early Literacy Intervention (ELI)

The Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) program is an intense reading support group for first and second-grade students. Students with multiple reading concerns are the typical candidates for ELI.

English Learner (EL)

Transitional Bilingual Programs in the Sheboygan Area School District Elementary Schools use the first language of the English Learner (EL) in instruction when possible but with rapid progression to all or most of the instruction in English.

Instrumental Music

Beginning band is open to all 5th-grade students. We offer instruction on flute, oboe, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone and combined percussion.

Lunch Buddies

Lunch Buddies are adults from the community who are matched with a student at our school.
